Here's the updated file as of today with transactions:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

CubbyFan's 2009 Rosters, v1.2

Fictional coaches removed
Real-life FA coach pool created
"Ghost" leagues removed
Transactions updated as of 1/26/09
Player photos updated for players who have joined new teams

I was very surprised to see that the rosters the computer uses are actually most likely the rosters they'll go with in real life. Obviously there's a few things here or there different, but I'm very pleased.

Waivers and DFA are on -- so if you want those off, turn them off before you start. I would perhaps advise to not claim anyone yourself for three days per usual, the computer will try to pass some guys through waivers.

Just noticed that payroll may be either too high or two low by just a bit for a few teams after the updated transactions are put into place, so if you're starting a league, you may want to adjust those slightly. I'll throw an updated one with new payrolls up tomorrow but its not much work if you want to do it yourself.

Ahh -- one other thing -- I had to unretire some players and for reason it didn't stick for a handful of them. I'll fix this tomorrow too, but if you want to start tonight, for the following players go to their card, click action, unretire player, and place them back on their team.

The problem with free agent personnel is back when you click on it the screen crashes...

You have to type on the 3 character code given at the top of the screen, then the download button appears.

I'm still having problems with trying to search for staff. Whenever I try this I get the OOTP has stopped working message. Anybody else having this problem?

That's odd. Markus sent me some .dat files as well, so I'll try messing around with those tonight and seeing if that fixes it. Coaches was working for me whenever I saved the game, I'm getting the crash as well whenever I reopen and try to go to that page.

Well the new file works for me again so if you need me to do anything to it let me know. This seems to me to be a windows conflict now. Since it runs fine on a mac.

btw, my game just crashed as well when clicking the coaches screen. I'm using Windows so it appears to be a windows problem.

Also, you have Josh Anderson as retired again without his stats from 2008 or ratings.

Hopefully Markus' new .dat files fix the issue, but I'm starting to wonder if it's something that would need to be fixed with a patch to the game rather than a fix to the roster set if it just occurs in PC vs. Mac?

There's no more Patch coming out intill the version 10 comes out.

People are still DFA but if you take off there Major League Contract then they can be assigned to the Minors. Anybody who's Retired but not in Hall of Fame available maybe as Personal?

This Roster set would be more instersting if you had the other Active
Leagues in it like Chinese,Northern,Forntier and so on.

People are unfortunately always going to be DFA unless we disable waivers.

If that doesn't work, one thing you could do is copy and paste a .dat file from one of your first updates that worked and then inside the game edit the names of the coaches and ratings or whatver.
