Problems with updating the HTML Reports.

when I Create and upload the HTML from inside the game it only updates the main page. Player pages are not being updated.

It worked in the past and then all of the sudden it stopped. Not sure what I changed. I am sure it is something simple but I can't figure it out so any help would be great.

Not a help per se, but Stu had the same issue in our league (BLB) and was able to find a fix. I'll point him in this direction. Just wanted to let you know that it has happened to others.

Are you uploading one by one, or trying to create an archive? If an archive, how are you unzipping them on the server?

In OOTP 8 mine randomly stopped creating an archive and uploading them one by one never completed. I instead used the option to copy them to a new folder and manually, zipped, uploaded and unzipped from there.

I'm having a similar problem and have to manually upload the archive. I shipped the problem files to Andreas on the beta team and have not heard of a resolution.

I too, am having this problem. Even with uploading the files to a folder and then uploading that folder. Game still crashes. Don't know why it started happening, but it has. It's a real problem.

I've had the same problem. When I try to "create and upload reports" my game hangs on, I believe, "Adding image file names to list" or something like that.

Are you uploading files one at a time to the site or having it create an archive. I know that the status message when you upload them individually doesn't work. It just sticks onl "Adding image file names to list" until it's done--which takes forever, so it looks like it's hung.

This is a different issue than Rasnell's, where it doesn't even create the zip.

I'm new to OOTP, but a few days ago with my second upload I thought I had the same problem. Not sure if this will fix the issue at hand, but it did fix mine. I was wondering why the webpages had not updated, so I went to the BNN home news page and refreshed the web page in my browser, then click on the ML league, all the pages were updated. I thought it migh have something to do with my cookies in the browser

I am using OOTP 2007 and I am having similar issues. I run the sim and all reports and the game is supposed to upload everything. I had issues doing this one by one so I switched to an archive file. It worked for a couple sims. The last sim I ran the game crashed during upload. So I restarted the process of creating reports and uploading. The game does its thing but when I look at the file on the server it is 0.0 MB. So I restarted the game again and tried it this time it crashes. Next I restart my machine and try the process all over again and this time it works. Hopefully I won't continue to have this issue or can figure out what was going on. I did have my torrent program running so that may have been causing issues with competing threads to my internet. So to be save you may want to discontinue all active internet connections when running an update within the game.
