Why Are All Leagues Not Upgrading to 9.1.6?

I've come across some posts asking about the compatibility of 9.1.2 and 9.1.6 for online leagues. For the leagues that are not upgrading, why are you not?

Unless there's a known problem with a patch (is there with this patch with online leagues?), it is my opinion that all online leagues should upgrade to the latest stable (i.e. non-beta) patch as soon as possible. If you don't upgrade and some of your users do (or vice versa) then you could be causing conflicts in some things like say how different versions might treat free agent offers or contract extensions. I don't think you want to put your users through the hassle of having to install OOTP9 twice into different directories and re-directing shortcuts and knowing which version to use for which league. It's probably bad enough that some of us have, for example, OOTP6.5, OOTP8 and OOTP9 installed for different online leagues. For major version upgrades like OOTP8 to OOTP9 I agree those should probably only be done in an off-season, but the changes that come with patches are usually mostly fixes that are sometimes necessary for people. Is there something I'm missing?

I'll echo that all 16 GMs in our league are using 9.1.6 and having zero problems.

The JL ran into problems when we were all using mis-matching versions of the game, so I recommend that all members of all leagues update as soon as possible.

I think that the main reason that some owners don't upgrade is because they don't realize that new patches have been released. Many OOTP players, even those in online leagues, don't visit these boards often.

Version 9.1.6 was only released twelve days ago, and although that might seem like a long time to those of us who are keenly attuned to the OOTP world, those who are on the periphery might not have yet gotten the word.
