Not buying OOTP9 as I've barely used OOTP8 since I got it (still setting my league up!) but that's some nice new toys.

Some things to think about for the replay option down the road:

Set save criteria. (No hitters, milestones, etc)
Have the replays linked in players histories for different achievements.

Sim replays are cool.

Just be sure it doesn"t mess up the stats by adding to it everytime you replay it.

I didn't see either of these coming for OOTP9. The replay feature is pretty cool and never even thought of it.

I gotta ask - did you have the mild animation idea or did we give it to you? Or, if you did have it but were unsure, did my little poll push you over the edge on it?

Either way, I just marked the release date on my calander!

Gets very problematic with older parks where it's hard to find photos with both foul poles in them.

How does OOTP9's system deal with park photos (like Cleveland's League park photo in one of the mods) that don't picture the entire field? Or show it from a strange angle? I'm assuming it works better than mogul's but how do you show a home run curving around the foul pole if you've got no foul pole in your shot?

I'm hoping that the Action button that you see in the lower right of that screen will have an option to "Assign batted ball locations to all parks" like you can do with player coordinates now. That works well if you have a series of similarly-dimensioned ballpark pictures like the Bogart collection that I use.
