most anticipatedOOTP 9 features?
Hello everyone,
I don't look at the boards too often but just saw that OOTP 9 was going to be released sometime this spring. Anyways, i blindly ordered it before really looking into what is added (OOTP is the only game I would do that for). I just looked at the feature list now and was wondering what people are most excited about, and what features are goign to make the biggest difference in how you guys play? On another note, I got bored the other day in between studying for finals and started a season with the 1996 dodgers, however the batting totals were too low (not enough HR's, hits...everything). And I was wondering if there was something I did wrong. |

Of the announced features, I want to see how the flexible playoffs work.
I'd like in-game womens / mixed leagues, but I can't see it happening. |

Feature list? What feature list? Still waiting for that... among other things.

I am talking about this list. Just wondering what people think what people think will make the most difference in their play. I am always just happy to see Improved AI. One day I hope I can manage without having to do no ratings and no trades to make it hard. |

I'm interested in seeing how the scouting works. That one front office screen with the most popular players and the guys with the most and least bang for their buck looks intriguing as well. I also approach the new "career curves" over the random hits and bumps to talent with some trepidation.

1. sound
2. improved scouting 3. the overall improvement in the game that I believe Markus has consistently delivered. OOTP is indeed the only software I have purchased on day one of its availability in every release since v3. The past performance and my own personal enjoyment/cost is unparalled by any other software I have ever owned game or otherwise. I don't think I have ever gotten a better value on any other purchase. OOTP is not the perfect game - but it is one that I enjoy for hours on end and for less than it costs to take my family to dinner.

1. Improved scouting
2. Improved personel contracts Still hoping they add a sandwich round to the new version to improve the draft pick compensation aspect of the game. |

Terms like "improved" really don't say much. Looking for a list like the one that came out before the last version was released. |
