I find it moderately ironic that the two runs scored today were by 2 guys you called out, Crede and Uribe. I think Uribe should be shipped out once Richar is healthy. You're spot on about Crede/Fields. Ramirez does look overwhelmed. He was so friggin happy once he got his first hit. BA will either be a bust or an allstar in his baseball career. It's looking like the former if they dont give him a shot. He proved he can hit this spring, but I doubt they trust him after his previous regular season performances thus far. Yes! We got a win, magic number 162!

Great outing for Danks. I do worry about him though. He doesn't have the best stuff, and is your typical "crafty lefty". Some guys have made a career of that, and I hope Danks does.
Otherwise, it was a good game, glad we won, but not glad who hit the solo shots. |

Meh. At least somebody hit 'em. I'll take Crede & Uribe doing it since nobody else did anything.

My brain knows you're talking about Ivan Rodriguez, but that still just sounds wrong.

im glowing. the tigers are the only team in baseball without a win.
then again, the royals are the only one without a loss. it's kinda a wash. must be a bizarro universe kind of season

Good last few games. I am really liking the look of this year's team and with a little tweaks they will be very competitive. Hope Buehrle and Vasquez can get on track this week. Go Sox!

Yeaaaaaah, I think Buehrle's gonna be OK.
And so's the offense. |

I saw most of the Floyd game against Detroit on TV where Willis walked the hell out of the White Sox and man, I love Nick Swisher in that non-gay way.
Great come from behind win, too, though I was scared when Boone went out to pitch.

Another good win. I hope the Tigers morale gets even worse, we face them at home in a bout a week.
I really am impressed with Quentin. Man I hope he continues to start. An outfield of Quentin, Swish and Dye is looking pretty good. Keep Owens on the bench as a backup/late inning defensive repalcement/ and pinch runner. I do not want to see him start. Im so worried right now about Owens. I can live with Uribe at 2nd. His defense sort of makes up for his defensive shortcomings. |

I'm happy he hasn't airmailed any throws over Konerko's head yet (well I think he hasn't, he's got one error this year already) It's good he's adjusted well to playing that side of the infield. He apparently got over the ego thing about losing his SS job to Cabrera.

Indeed. I was lucky enough to go today...it was cold, but nothing takes the chill off like a go-ahead grand slam.

Pretty close, yeah. I imagine that some folks stayed home because of the cool/windy weather, but not many. I missed Ozzie's ejection while I was in line for the bathroom. Heck, I missed almost the entire inning waiting in line for the bathroomm.
