I don't think he's played quite long enough. I could be swayed with more information. Did he a: start when he was 27-29 or b: start in his early 20s and still have a few years of career left? It would be instructive if you could post his actual year-by-year stat list from the game.

For every 2 hits this guy had a walk. It is debatable, but his production was great for the time he was in the lineup. Given the fact that he was an original player and older I would say "yes."

I definitely give sway to originals. They defined the earlier years of my league and set the standards for others to follow. The first cy young award, mvp award, etc., is all a special part of the league.
