Wright continues impressive show of power in early stoppage of Homsey...
Winky Wright, USA, 2-0-0 (2) vs Dino Homsey, USA, 2-0-0 (2)
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood, FL, USA. Both fighters come in with identical records. Wright is a very good defensive U.S. prospect, but has shown some real surprising power in his first two pro bouts. Wright, 11-2, in the 1st round. Homsey is countering Wright in the early part of this fight. Winky feints and lands a bomb to the left temple of Homsey that puts him on the canvas in the 3rd round. Homsey is unable to get to his feet and Wright has another early round KO victory. Winner: Wright Result: (KO3) Cards: 20-18, on all three cards in favor of Wright Punch stats: 29-85, 34.1% Homsey - 120-194, 61.9% Wright |

Nice, I figure Galaxy would win without too much trouble but not this easily. I thought it would go 5 or 6 rounds at least. So only a couple more fights before Galaxy loses his first fight.

Received contract and updated fight schedule. No problem, sometimes it is good for a promoter to remind me because once in awhile I forget to put a fighters list up. Also, sometimes it is not seen because there are a lot of lists that go up. Your fighters are on a good run right now. Hope they can keep it up as the schedule gets tougher. |

Does anybody know what happened to a87star? He hasnt been around the boards very much lately. Im sure some promoters got frustrated with the interruptions that were taking place in the universe, as I was. I know that Lee is really busy with his other projects so he probably has stopped promoting here. Just wondering, because Calzaghe is a pretty high profile fighter right now, ranked in the top 10, and should have a world title shot opportunity real soon. That would be the first stable to get that shot and I am surprised that they wouldnt want to take advantage of that.

Mancini scores six knockdowns in win over Gaudiano...
Ray Manicini, Italy, 8-0-0 (8) vs Luigi Gaudiano, Italy, 5-1-2 (4)
Artemio Franchi, Florence, Italy. "Boom Boom" on the offensive attack from the get go, 16-2, in the first. 20-4, for Mancini in the 2nd. Gaudiano has no answer for the constant pressure being applied from Mancini. Gaudiano finally stops backpedaling to throw some punches of his own and gets caught by a left jab followed by a right hook that drops him in the 4th. Gaudiano responds with a nice 5th, 18-6. 10-6, for Gaudiano in the 6th. This has turned into a very good fight with both boxers landing some stinging punches. Gaudiano has some serious swelling around the left eye. Mancini puts Gaudiano down twice in the 8th. Mancini is relentless in his pressure and keeps working on the body and left eye of his opponent. Gaudiano is down for the 4th time in the fight in the 10th. Gaudiano can barely see out of his left eye as we start the 12th round. Another good round, 12-0, for Mancini in the 12th. A perfect uppercut puts Gaudiano down again and he gets up for the 5th time in the 13th. The 6th knockdown in the 14th finally ends the fight. Gaudiano takes a tremendous amount of punishment. Winner: Mancini Result: (KO14) Cards: 128-113, 127-115, 128-114, all three cards in favor of Mancini Punch stats: 165-499, 33.1% Gaudiano - 460-939, 49% Mancini |

The Ghost is starting to creep up the rankings with another impressive TKO victory...
Kelly Pavlik, Slovakia, 4-0-0 (4) vs Slavomir Selicky, Slovakia, 1-0-0 (1)
L.P. Gym, Nove Zamky, Slovakia. Slavo Selicky is coming into the ring looking for the upset. The Ghost is the heavily favored prospect and takes both the first and second rounds with effective punching. 26-0, Pavlik in the 3rd. Slavo gets trapped in the corner and gets peppered for most of the round. Selicky is down in the 5th, no, it is ruled a slip. But he is down again and this one is counted as a knockdown. Pavlik lands a left hook to the body and puts Slavo down. Another hook puts him down for the second time in the 7th. 8-8, in the 8th. Selicky finds his offense, 8-0, to start the 9th but then eats a right and goes down, 21-10, Pavlik in the 9th. Another knockdown in the 10th. Pavlik is trying to end it here and Selicky is hunched over in the ropes as the ref stops the fight. Winner: Pavlik Result: (TKO10) Cards: 89-77, on all three cards in favor of Pavlik Punch stats: 89-339, 26.3% Selicky - 381-903, 42.2% Pavlik |

Latin American Boxing Association Championship
LABA Title Fight - Asociacion Mendocina de Box, Mendoza, Capital, Argentina
[Champion] Gregorio Peralta, Argentina, 18-1-0 (13) vs [LABA#1] Diego Corrales, Mexico, 10-0-0 (10) Chico Corrales comes in as a heavy-handed slugger that is a fast rising star in the CABO region and his first punch lands and not only hurts the champ, but opens a cut over the right eye. Peralta also has major swelling around the left eye. Peralta's inactivity since winning the belt is really showing tonight as Corrales take the 2nd round, 12-2. The third round is close, 8-8, as Peralta is able to keep Corrales at a distance. Corrales continues to come forward and lands to open up the cut again, 22-4, Corrales in the 4th. Peralta is really struggling, his hands are low, swelling around the left eye and now looks fatigued, but Corrales seems to have hurt his right hand here in the 5th. The champion finally cuts off Corrales and is finally able to land some nice shots to the head and body. Corrales is cut and now both fighters are bleeding. The corners will have to earn their paychecks tonight. 10-4, Corrales in the 7th. 11-11, in the 8th. Peralta seems to be behind and really needs to start pressing the action. Peralta, 11-9 in the 9th. 13-0, Corrales in the 10th. Another big round for Chico Corrales, 17-5, in the 11th, as the belt is slipping away from Peralta. A left jab followed by a right cross puts the champion down in the 13th. Peralta is down a total of three times in the 13th but is able to get out of the round. Peralta needs a stoppage to win the fight with two rounds left. We go to the last round. Referee Alonso steps in and puts a halt to the fight with only 1:21 left in the fight. Diego Corrales is the new LABA champion. Winner: Corrales Result: (TKO15)(Cuts) Cards: 136-129, 136-128, 134-129, all three cards in favor of Corrales Punch stats: 233-508, 45.9% Peralta - 360-993, 36.3% Corrales |

Orient & Pacific Boxing Federation Championship
OPBF Title Fight - YMCA Stadium, Auckland, New Zealand
[Champion] David Tua, Samoa, 18-6-0 (16) vs [OPBF#5] Wally Evans, New Zealand, 17-4-0 (15) Evans finds himself looking up from a big hook in the first round. Tua's power will probably end this fight early. 10-10, 2nd round. Evans is doing a better job of staying on the outside away from Tua's power. An uppercut puts Tua on the canvas in the 4th round! The crowd is up cheering for their fighter. Oh, another big punch puts Evans down and this time for good in the 5th. The Tuaman retains his belt with a 5th round KO. Winner: Tua Result: (KO5) Cards: 38-37 Tua, 38-37 Evans, 38-37 Tua Punch stats: 66-289, 22.8% Evans - 78-280, 27.9% Tua

New Orleans Olympic Club, New Orleans, LA, USA
[15] Ezzard Charles, USA, 24-3-0 (16) vs [20] Sam Langford, Canada, 21-5-0 (20)
This is a non-title fight for Charles, his USBA belt will not be on the line tonight. The Cincinnati Cobra corners Langford and goes to the body here in the 1st round, 14-4, Charles. Round 2 is slow and a feeling out round, 4-4. Langford does some nice work, 16-2, in the 3rd. Langford is warned for hitting and holding in the 4th. Charles unloads in the 5th as Langford looks dazed, 19-6, Charles in the 5th. A straight right is the best punch of the 6th, 8-0 for Langford. A vicious combo puts Charles down. A cross puts Charles down for the second time in the 8th round. Charles is down two more times in the 9th. Langford is way ahead in the fight from the four knockdowns and Charles will have to go all out for a knockout to win this fight tonight. We enter the 11th and Langford puts Charles down again from an onslaught of punches. 34-0, Langford in the 11th, Charles down twice in that round and a total of six times so far. Langford lands a beautiful combination to the head and body that puts Charles down for the 7th time and this time Charles cannot get back up. Winner: Langford Result: (KO12) Cards: 104-99, 105-98, 107-97, all three cards in favor of Langford Punch stats: 198-473, 41.9% Charles - 260-752, 34.6% Langford |
