Joe Moore, a well known commish and participant in these forums disappeared without trace a year or so ago. There was a lot of speculation and concern about what happened to him, but I don't think the mystery of his disappearance was ever solved. Does anyone have an update?

I've not seen anything new concerning Joe's disappearance.

He seemed to be well on his way to becoming a rock-solid commish of the HBL...

I was in a FBPRO league back when...and the old commissioner stepped down to spend time with the kids (or grand-kids, I can't remember). The new commissioner, one of the league's foremost owners stepped up...and...nothing.

Things were out there...then one day the email comes out. One of the owners had gotten an email from the distraught wife of this commissioner who was going through his address book to let people know that he'd been in a car accident and passed away a few weeks previously...

Very tragic...

Specs is somewhere. He occasionally posts over on the CDL message board to lament some happening to the Cardinals, like the trading away of Pedro Guerrero and his subsequent run at a Triple Crown or shows up in the CDL Chatroom unannounced for the playoffs.

I saw a Specs post on this forum just a day or so ago.

As for Joe Moore, RPMBucs and myself tried to contact a number that we found for him, but always got an answering machine with a woman's voice on it.

We know nothing of what happened with Joe, but I agree, he was a real 'up and coming' commish.

Since neither one exists, that's a moot point.

Hey Scott, quit caring about Pintos and get that sim done. Is this the only way you plan on stopping the Riversharks?

The Commish of TMSL, which was turning out to be a great league, went missing until we got an email from his mom which said that he was in the hospital with heart problems and he asked her to send the email. Very dedicated, I'd say. If I was in the hospital with heart trouble I wouldn't even be thinking of any league. Anyway, he recovered, but he wasn't well enough to continue the league.

Ha! It's done. Geez I miss my DSL connection! Just a few more days of this temporary dial-up madness!

For a second I thought that this was the commish of the TFO, which shutdown after, yes, 7 games into the season!

Very suprised, since we seem to have very active owners in 'The Flight for October'.

Excuses, excuses...wait can I use it for not turning in lineups? I must admit I'm probably the last to turn in lineups but you know my feelings about messing with success.

Thanks for the comment on the logo Satchel but I can't claim it as original. I stole it from the Camden Rivershakrs and took out the words. You should understand being from Little Rock that "River" teams should be located in Memphis, not New Jersey or where Camden is...
