I agree EagleEye, but I think that his fellow league members should know that it is at least a possibility before handing over control of the league to him. I know I would want to know if I were in a similar situation.

So what if he uses different nicknames on different boards. I'm not joshuaaaaaa everywhere. Generally, I like to use J2K, it just seems to be taken a lot. To date, no one else has ever used joshuaaaaaa.

There's a difference between using more than one nick on various message boards for convenience, or theming, and using more than one nick with the intention to deceive. That's what TTBL Commish did, and he apologized for it later, which is fine. There have been, on this and other message boards I've visited, people who use multiple IDs to slander people, to vote multiple times in polls, or other underhanded purposes.

The last time HornsManiac commished a league, things turned out not-so-well. I'm not going to rehash the situation, as it was detailed pretty thoroughly here not too long ago. You can find it easily with a brief search.

I'm also not ready to say that Maddux31 is 100%, without a doubt, the same person as HornsManiac. I would just suggest that if he is going to become the commish of a league that you're in that YOU know for sure.

I really think I have seen it all now. I post here on this message board all the time with this name. I also post at FOFC all of the time with this name. I am not ****ing hiding from anyone and I never have been. I don't have a reason to hide my face in shame. Why don't you people go write a ****ing dynasty or something and leave this guy alone.

Steve - I am sorry about my language, but enough is enough. Will you please end this immediately like you have warned you will do in situations like this? I think the problem is they spend way too much time over a FOFC where flaming and harassing other posters had been quite the norm, up until their new mods recently took over.

Perhaps a moderator could do an IP check to see if they are coming from the same computer?

Even if they are different IPs it wouldn't totally rule out the possibility of them being the same person since dial up gives you a different IP every time.

I'd bet that Maddux is HornsManiac as well. I've thought so ever since Maddux took over the Braves in the RWBL. I wouldn't be suprised if the new commish of the RWBL allowed him to stay in as the Braves with a new alias or if HornsManiac simply changed his name and pretended to be a new owner. They both post in the same wimpy style which I could describe but don't have the time. I may be mistaken, but I haven't been wrong about identifying several of Kyle's aliases in the past.

The IP addresses that person uses have been banned from my own message board already. If someone from another league wants to check out Maddux's identity, I can compare his IP to the known HM IPs.

I see similarities as well. For example, when HM quotes a post attacking him, he usually only quotes a part out of context that makes it look like they agree with him. Maddux sort of did the same thing in this thread..
