Gatti/spoliers 7/14

I started it to spare those people who actually get on a boxing board when they don't want to know a result

No buzz at all on the Gatti fight, eh? I guess I shouldn't be surprized considering I did not make make the usual pilgrimage to the Jersey shore. It seems this guy was picked for a reclamation victory, the undercard was pretty uninspiring and I had no interest in other big bout on the card.

So, I saved a few hundred and I'll post some results unless someone beats me to it.

I just want Williams to win tonight because I don't like Margarito (although if I was laying money down it'd be on him) and so Cap makes his Paul Williams comments again.

Odds look good for tonight fights. if I had some cash to spare i'd throw a few bucks on Gomez, Williams, and Hanshaw.

Yeah and despite the face he's facing Gatti, he's only a slight underdog. Hanshaw is an appealing bet as well because you don't know if Jones has much left in the tank.

I would bet on Hanshaw in that fight. If Jones beats Hanshaw I think it is a very good win for him at this point in his career.

If Jones beats Hanshaw, he'll likely get a title shot against Chad Dawson. Wouldn't count out a fourth fight with Tarver to see who gets the shot against "Bad Chad".

If Hanshaw pulls the upset, he'll need a few more wins before he fights for a belt or anyone in the top ten.

Ah well, it was a fun ride for a long while. I'll miss him. I'm just happy I got to see him a couple times live on the Jersey shore.
