I just want to say that I am extremely impressed with everything Cubby has done and one of the biggest reasons I just created my user name was to express my gratitude towards him. Cubby, you've done one helluva job and I think I speak for everyone who uses this roster file when I say thank you and keep up the fantastic work!

Look forward to seeing your new version out soon!

I am quite excited about this new release, and I think it would be a great gift to America if they got released today

I've read elsewhere that stadium dimensions don't affect gameplay (the ballpark factors are very important, however). So to me this would be a low priority item to fix.

Right, but I believe the ballpark factors are also inaccurate as of right now

I just uploaded this for Erich to use. and decided to give the link out. It will have somewhere around 75% of the players in Cubby's set or more.Plus has Japanese, and alot college players already included.

For Logos, Truth's newest Shiny Button style are the best IMO

Stadium pics, Pads fan has a good set he made on his site.
Thanks for the info everyone. For Pad's stadiums, is there a quick way to ensure all of the positions align? Right now they look like a mess!

Also, is there a quick way to "bulk rename" the photos or the in game naming so that they match up?

Okay, I think what I've decided to do is this:

It'd be nice to have some "other leagues" out there in the next set released, however getting these players and stats in is going to take a bit. So I'm thinking about creating "shell" leagues with no real players in them (like the Frontier League, Northern League, Atlantic League, etc.) and filling them with fictional players for the first release, and going back through and doing their rosters as we progress. Obviously these fictional players will be on the same talent level as the real leagues are (about a Single A to AA level, a few players perhaps could make a ML or AAA roster one day, but not many).

Also thinking about getting a college and possibly a HS feeder in there.

However, here's my problem. I am AWFUL with logos. I really need someone to collect logos for these leagues (and the league logos themselves) and format them for OOTP use. I know Icy has done this in the past, so I haven't been able to talk to him yet, but if any of you would be interested in helping as well, that would be MUCH appreciated.

The leagues I'm planning on including initially are the Frontier League, Northern League, and Atlantic League (of Professional Baseball), American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball (CANAM) for Indy Leagues, the *** (which is done), and possibly the NCAA.

If anyone could collect these, it would be amazing. I'm about done fixing salaries/coaches/stadiums, so I'll probably release that later either LATE tonight after I get back from fireworks, or tomorrow.

Happy Fourth!

EDIT: Also, if you have any suggestions for other associations you'd like to see, feel free to throw 'em in. Golden Baseball League and United Baseball League were others I was considering.

Hey Cubby, I have all of those, plus a few extras leagues in the file i have been creating. SO I zipped the logos up and am currently uploading them. You'll probably wanna delete some of them, like lesser indy leagues, the Italian, Cuban and Mexican leagues. and if you wanna use Truth's MiLB and MLB logos in there, you may have to rename some as well. But it should have everything you need.
I will edit this with the FileFront link in a few minutes

There ya go.
Just missing 3-4 logos that dont exist yet in a circle format. I am still trying to get someone to create them for me over in the graphics mod section.

CubbyFan...this is fantastic. The North American Baseball Alliance is patiently waiting for your finished work. (I believe we may hold an OOTP record for most league forum posts before ever simming a game; we are teetering on 1,000 posts!!)

Perhaps you have already covered this, but at least one Winter League would be fantastic for our league. If you can't add it, I can always do it in the league wizard, but I'd prefer to defer to your expertise.

Do feeder leagues work well with the game yet?

The Mexican and Italian leagues have more than a few ex big leaguers and guys that have played in AA and AAA. Cuba is definitely a good league, but the lack of information available is a pain in the butt. The Mexican league is definitely the easiest, they have full information for the teams on MiLB.com

Coaches and Managers question

Thanks fo rall your hard work. Did you replace the coaches/managers with the real guys, or are they still all fictional. I just downloaded and looked at the managers, who are all fictional.

thanks again for the great effort.

I'm confused. When will the actual major league + minors be correct and released with logos, correct stats, etc?
