I've already imported the full Japanese set created by murmur13, which is REALLY cool, including real stats and history, coaches, stadiums, and such. I'll be releasing two copies of the next file, one with the Japanese league and one without it. While I haven't tested the Japanese league out yet (some of the ratings for the closers and a few pitchers seem a bit too high), if you guys want to get to trying out the compatibility, that's going to be an option for you up next.

Well good news. Before anything I changed Samardzija and Hochevar to MLC. Next I turned on waivers and the two of them are not placed on waivers. All other specs (that I left with Major League Contracts) are still on waivers and will be released.

Problem is, they both are on Major league contracts in real life.

Game, Setup, then change Overall/Potential rating dropdown box on the left to "Stars."

Thinking it will be out tonight.

True, but if the game can't properly handle this, I'd much rather have the contracts be 300k off than have teams releasing big prospects

Speaking of prospects, up next before I start working on other leagues I believe, is going to be finishing up Top 30 prospects. They're done from Arizona-Cleveland, but I need to get past that and get them finished.

Who has the best logos and player photos? What about stadium pics too? I've seen so many out there but I was curious as to what everyone else is using that they consider "the best."

Alright nothing up tonight, didn't get as far as I wanted. I'm golfing all day tomorrow, so I'll update tomorrow night on where we're at.

What "rules' are set with that Japanese league? Can it trade with the majors, or just allow free agents to go to and from the leagues? As much as I like the ability to "purchase contracts" (ie, trade cash only), the AI doesn't do this, and tends to do dumb trades between the leagues.

One question though...will this upcoming roster release replace some of the magically disappearing old chumps?

In conjunction with this set, I had been updating and adding photos for a majority of the players, which is what I have been using... I could probably zip it up and share that if everyone would like. And I do believe Gambo has a HUGE photo pack.

I just uploaded this for Erich to use. and decided to give the link out. It will have somewhere around 75% of the players in Cubby's set or more.Plus has Japanese, and alot college players already included.

For Logos, Truth's newest Shiny Button style are the best IMO

Stadium pics, Pads fan has a good set he made on his site.

I know that the file comes set w/ the personality and moral ratings off. I'm guessing that if you turn them on, the ratings are random. has anyone thought about setting these up to be semi-realistic? I can't see a reason to use them if they are random, and I know a lot of people keep them off. They are extremely subjective as well.. Is anyone interested in coming up w a way to edit them to be useable?

Couple questions, are there plans to put in more accurate market sizes? Below is a list of each market in order of size and I wrote next to it the market size according to the set (1-20 scale).

Also, I noticed the default park dimensions and factors are incorrect for the teams I looked at, but if you select one of the other parks listed under the same name, they look accurate.

Not having roster limits, especially at the lowest level, helps reduce/eliminate sign and release issues.
