Theres going to be some competition at catcher this season

Whats up with this ? This is during spring training of the 2nd season of the league. Ive seen alot of wacky things going on with catchers, but I guess thats because there are a ton of catchers during those early years, and the game doesnt really allow for catcher injuries like they got back then. They needed alot of catchers on the roster. Also, if you look just below, I assume this is the "sign and release" thing alot of people talk about ? Is this something that should be cleared up with the patch ? Im still on the last offical release (2.02 ?)

Hehe...Im tired of watching everyone go to Virginia Tech

Even worse, Im going to NYC to see Tarzan tomorrow, so I wont see the sim until like 8:00 tomorrow night. I can see it now...Ill be sitting there watching the show, but really wondering if Ill ever land a decent recruit this season

Anyway, Ive seen the sign and release thing before, but never something like this. This is with free agency off, and one level of minors

Also, what the hell did they do to B. Bergen? Signed and released over and over?

I'm just stabbing in the dark a bit, but maybe the problem is with the team evaluation algorithm not updating like it should after the signing a catcher? So, after signing the first guy, the team "forgot" that they just signed him, still saw a shortage and signed the next one?

Just guessing, mind you.

I just finished out the 1903 season, did the amatuer draft, and simulated a week at a time up until the date on the screenshot. I didnt really do anything. Im using Gambo's pure database if it matters (I dont think that would matter in this case)
