I'd like the Player Viewer to look like this.
I don't mean the blurry colors but the content.

On the pitcher's screen, I would add their ratings and talent for Ks. That was left off v5.0. Maybe you caught that for 5.1.

amen to those changes - actually i'd be happy with having just the talents on the front page and not the lefty righty ratings breakdowns

Very nicely done. That's closer to what I would like to see too.

the only thing i don't like with the current setup, is that the career history for a player is virtually impossible to read if that player has done alot.
maybe if it were split up into sub catergories, like: POW awards, POM awards, MVP awards, transactions, and career achievements. |

I disagree with the 'avoiding Ks' box on the batter screen though, since its largely a meaningless stat as far as determining player performance.
One thing I've noticed is missing is that on the career pitching stats it doesn't list HR allowed! This seems to be a big oversight, since its one of the critical factors in determining pitcher performance (and one of the more important pitcher ratings). |

Hits, Homers, and Walks should be the only ones needed. I would like to see the talents added as well. Not necessarily the splits though.

Wow! Amazing work.
I too like the player history, it makes it much more easier to read. I also thought maybe you could click on player history and there would be tabs, like a injury history tab, awards history tab, and transactions tab...I think that would be cool so if someone didn't want to look at all his injuries, or just wanted to, they could. |

Yes, that looks great.
I'd like the avoid K's rating / talents to be listed as well. While some may think it is meaningless, I do not, and the more info the better.

Indeed good stuff. However, I'm in the 'most recent years on the bottom of stats' club.

Like in your other thread, very nice retouch (from a conceptual viewpoint), zeroIQ. However, in this case, I really don't mind the current player pages. While I agree that some tinkering could be done, I really don't have a problem with it.
With one exception. I hate the fact that I have to toggle between contract information/character attributes. I really don't understand the logic behind this interface change- it just seems like it adds unnecessary hassle. Note that my saying this doesn't mean that I don't approve of your personal vision, zeroIQ, I think it's great. And on the same hand, I don't mean to undermind the original and ongoing work of .400 Studios, either, as the smoothness and functionality of the OOTP5 interface is excellent.

Hmm, I'd have to rate this player's consistency as better than 'Good'...
![]() j/k. I would love to be able to see all this on the main page. Especially the Talent and L/R splits... |

This is a pretty good design/layout, but I don't really have a problem with the existing .. Whether they modified it, or kept it how it is, I'd probably be okay with it ...
Nice work though. |
