Add an Online league draft component. Most preferably in the form of "draft lists" or "draft preferences".

The exhibition game feature. Sometimes its nice to play a single, non-league scheduled game during a lunch break at work.
Please Markus- bring back Exhibition Games!

On broadcast screen have the pitchers line as follows...IP H ER R BB K
Allow for team totals when doing team reports. For example, I'd like to know my teams total QS%, as it is now I can only get it for individual pitchers. |

An ability to release and delete all players, ALL history, and reset the league to its initial year with a NEW draft class. Please? Been hoping for something like this since I first started playing OOTP5. I've heard a good bit of agreement when I've mentioned it in posts, too.

Might not be quite what you mean, but for patch one just a modest request: I'd love to see trackpoint and mousewheel scrolling support. It'd be nice not to have to use the scroll bars.

I would like to have the ability to import multiple historical players into a league, instead of just one at a time.

It never ceases to amaze me how flexible Markus's game is, as witnessed by all of the different things that people find important to add.

But I will tell you one thing, the addiction factor is back, without a doubt, the new historical play is awesome,no more entering league totals, expanding manually, getting wierd league totals and having to replay a season to get them right, true true historical baseball heaven.

I guess my more official suggestion would be to add a series of options in the game setup screens for uniform numbers. Maybe it could be setup similar to player salaries. Or....have a data grid checkbox with uniform numbers vertically(same increments of 10 as in the player profile) & positions/roles on the horizontal column(including MR, CL, DH, etc) That way you can say I dont want any MR 's to be assigned 0-9 numbers, or any catchers 80-89(like you'd want anybody to have that). Then you can even change it over time as your league progresses(i.e. 1901-2000+).

The draft pick reports, please (I assume robster's request of a full drafting function for online leagues is more than a patch can handle...but if that's an option, I'll take that instead).

A random stadium generator with user input
i.e. # if seats Tiny Small Average Large Huge Foul ground size Tiny Small Average Large Huge Fence distance Very short Short Average Long Next zip code Lighting quality Very poor Poor Average Good Very good etc etc etc There would be a few dozen of these for every facet of a stadium Once you entered all of them in, you clicked a button and a new stadium pops out. Complete with # of seats, fence size, alltitude and park factors already calulated using all the parameters you set that affect park factors Then a list of options pops up Cancel Generate new stadium using the above parameters Save this stadium (for later use) Save this stadium and use with exsisting team If you click the last option, a list of all the teams in your universe pops up and you click the team you want to assign the new stadium too This option would be simply fantastic It is easy enough to use that it only takes a few minutes per stadium yet powerful enough that it can generate thousands of stadiums using the same parameters and tens of millions of stadiums using all the different parameters There also be a random button that will randomize all the parameters and and give you a brand new stadium with the click of a button that is totaly unique In just a few minutes you can generate a few total pitchers parks Hitter friendly small parks for use in foreign countries Massive run neutral stadiums for huge cities And everything in between In short, this feature would take stadium creation into the next level |

I'd like to see a better way to forward save games to another computer. As it stands right now, I play the game on a desktop and laptop, and use my server as a go-between. Even without the server between the two, file transfers are extremely slow b/c of all the individual htm and txt files.
Solution? Some kind of zip compression/decompression of saves from within the program. |

True Hall of Fame Leagues
Basically the ability to create true Hall of Fame leagues, allowing you to import players across different eras, but have their ratings adjust based upon the era. Aging could be toggled off altogether, allowing players to create Field of Dreams style leagues, where statistics would compile, and you could even choose to have player contacts if you wanted. This addition would perfect the game for me. It is something I have always wanted the game to do, and something that I think could be coded fairly easily. |

I also want to see the full inclusion of an RBI rating into the game
That way players like Shea Hillenbrand will no longer be so underrated!!!!!!!!111 He is an RBI machine you know! |
