Edited stats re-set - Sometimes

Hi

Great game by the way, I've been waiting for a good Baseball management game since Sierra's Front Page Sports Baseball 98!

One issue is that at the beginning of the game I used the editor to create a player. I wanted a player with good power and speed. Despite making his ratings create an estimated Home Run total of 59 his Home Run power remained at 6. Then after a couple of games it went to 17. After saving and quitting and restarting again all his stats were back to the original.

Is this a known problem?

The pitchers stats also reset when re-loading the game

Did you adjust his current ratings or his potential ratings? You would need to set the potential to at least the same as his current ratings or the current ratings will eventually, sometimes quickly drop back. Restarting the game should have absolutely no effect on a player's ratings.

Also, if you're playing with scouts, you'll only have the last time they looked at him, which of course would have been before you edited him.
