Both of these are small, and could certainly wait till next year - but it sure would be nice......

Sorry to be off topic, but I see "Al" on you post...isn't your name "Henry"?

Sorry if this question is naiive: Will this patch fix the bug that crashes the game upon start-up due to my video card not agreeing w/ Facegen? I'd really like to enable Facegen and see some faces in my fictional league

Uncertain. I know they're working on some things. Ultimately, this may be a limitation of your video card...

If we create a new stadium in a historical league, will the ballpark factors change year to year like they do currently?

Also, is there anyway to make it so the park factors don't change when running a historical league? It's annoying to have to edit in the ballpark factors for Sportman's Park IV (and all the other ballparks) year to year, especially in the years where it's listed twice.

I've noticed that the fences/heights and attendance stay the same but the factors themselves change (example: 0.976 for RHBA (edited in) in 1916 and then to 1.030 RHBA in 1917 and 1.040 RHBA in 1918, etc.)

Thanks.

I have doing manual adjustments for all the Stadium info for years now. There is a great xml file of alot all the major league parks and alot of the mior league parks, I finally decided not to change dimensions untill the new stium goes into effect and now from the last post it seems like I am goin got have to do this every year...GREAT

Please give us an option to allow the game to change the stadium info or for us to do it manualy. I prefer to manualy change the figures myself.

I don't think the game has ever automatically adjusted ballpark factors in an historical league. Where would it get that info? It's not in Lahman, and it's not shipped with the game.

Not sure where that came from (or what it has to do with this patch)...

From what I've experienced, if I change the ballpark factors say in 1912 for Fenway Park I and then go to the next season, 1913, when I click on edit ballpark, the park factors are changed from the 1912 inputted settings to generic settings (e.g 1.040 for everything).

Try it yourself and you'll see. My question was pertaining to the create a park feature, would that situation occur if I created a Fenway Park II in 1912 and set that as the Red Sox stadium.

Here are the park factors for Fenway Park I without changing them in my current historical sim.
1925: 1.000 for everything.
1926: 0.970 for everything.
1927: 0.980 for everything.

Any word on the Mac bug fixes, such as the game scrollers not scrolling on a trackpad or ball, and the logos not regenerating?

Here are the two http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=142587, which I have loged:

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=142500

Here is another user's log of the same issue:

http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=142685

Thanks!

FWIW, we're cautiously optimistic that this patch may allow people with unsupported video cards to use FaceGen... No promises, but if you have a card that doesn't work, be sure to give it a try when the patch comes out!

Is there any chance that the Hispanic FaceGen error will be fixed? It'd be nice to see some actual Hispanic faces, rather than all of the Caucasian ones in place.

Guys, I hate to be such a wet blanket, but please, we're not going to respond to all of the "but what about this bug, and this bug" posts.

If you haven't seen elsewhere, Markus is having some health problems right now. For the most part, he's just focusing on big issues to get something out to you guys sooner rather than later.

I'm sorry, I know you all want everything fixed. We do, too, but we're trying to work through some trying circumstances.

I'm sorry if I spoke out of place, and I did not know that Markus did the Mac coding as well, but the patchmakes no mention of Mac specific bugs that aren't a problem in the PC version. Since we were kind of kicked int he corner last year, and we paid the same price as the PC users, I was just trying to figure out if the patch will fix some of the Mac specific issues we have been having...

These certainly are Mac issues, but calling them 'bugs' is hardly accurate. They're feature requests. If they worked for PC users and not for Macs, then they'd be bugs. (Speaking as a Mac guy.)

No, the uniform not regenerating is clearly a bug, as it works as intended on the C version (again, the colors dont regenerate on the Mac version only). Also, the Mac scroll was said to be in this years version, and it clearly isnt. I'd just like to know where we are with these problems.

I wish I could make one of these that expressed "hopefully optimistic" on this end:

It's OK, either way that it turns out. Thanks for the effort.

Where do you get the patch for 2007?

Where do you get the patch for OOTP 2007? What is the latest version?
