Shop Player - I'm doing something wrong ... - Page 2

If youve labeled your player "untouchable" and you forgot to change it to "Available" then it wont let you shop player.

2. Are you a minor league manager? Minor league managers cannot trade players!

You guys did notice that he said the problem ONLY existed when he was 'acting as' his own team AND was in commissioner mode, right?

Works for me I just shopped Palmerio from the Rangers (playing the 2002/2003 years since I CAN'T IMPORT MY CURRENT OOTPBB 6.5a LEAGUES CAUSE IT'S ALREADY STARTED! LOL (don't mind me I'm just pissed because I didn't know it had to be the start of a season to import old leagues, this wasn't in the advertisement for the game dontchaknow lol)) Didn't get any offers I liked. So, I pulled up Woods from the Cubs and Force traded Palmerio, Gonzales and Park for K. Wood hehe

The AI wanted 7 days (I think that's the limit isn't it?) to think about it, I thought it was a fair an excellent trade and so did my computer AI analysist, so, I just forced it to save me time. haha Now to get Prior and Texas Rangers will have finally some decent pitching which they never have and never get until players are 40 or 50 years old like Nolan Ryan and Rogers and the rest of the oldies but goodies they've gotten in the past.

Hrm, well, I'm pleased you've resolved the issue, although I wish I could replicate it so we could get some resolution if there is a bug...

No, that's incorrect, although I can see how it could be confusing after reading all of these posts ...

I'm normally NOT in commissioner mode, and was NOT in that mode when the problem was occurring. I only finally had to turn CM on, in order to test / troubleshoot / act as another team / and finally resolve the problem.

The problem has not re-occurred in a full day of playing the same league, so *shrug* no idea. Thanks again for everyone's input.

Just to verify with everybody, you can't shop more than 1 player at once correct? (only 1 player per shop - you can't shop 3 players and see who the AI offers for the 3 players together)
