There is no workaround, unfortunately; Markus has apparently said he'll fix this in the first patch.

Oh - OK. All I saw was a response from Markus saying it wasn't a bug. Any idea when they are expecting the first patch? Weeks, Months?

No official word, but I'd definitely expect the former: weeks rather than months. Maybe even more like "days."

I accidentally just posted this in general discussion. Not much else to add, but I sure hope this one gets fixed soon. Managing the minors is pretty much useless if the AI is going to mess with your settings.

I'm confident that this will be fixed soon though.

Unfortunately I sim a week at a time so makes starting a career in the minors impossible for me.

This was claimed fixed in the first patch. If you continue to have trouble with this issue, please contact a moderator to reopen this thread.
