Scoring runs shouldn't be a problem for you. Looks like the Dodgers should be the favorite at least they are on paper. I don't think any team in the west doesn't have a legitimate shot. Even Colorado.

Don't forget us Marlins down south here. The Mets are gonna be the team to beat in the NL east anyway, but I don't think the Braves are as competitive as they have been in the past, the Phillies have no pitching, though they do have R. Howard (sigh), and the Nats are still the Nats.

The Fish have a LOT of young talent including H. Ramirez, NL Rookie of the Year, D. Willis, top 20 MLB pitcher, M. Cabrera, top 5 NL player, and a young starting rotation and a lot of good sticks at the plate.

Unfortunately, its the bullpen that will make or break this team. But then again...remember 2003!

I am in a daily sim league and what I love about our league is that you can play out your home games. Unfortunately 6.5 is the last version to allow this. We would love to upgrade to the new version but in doing so would take away the one thing that makes our league so special. Do you know of any plans to put this back into future versions of OOTP?

Unfortunately, I have no inside knowledge of future plans, but agree with you on this, would be a very good addition.

How long has your league been running and what year are you in?

The league has been around since 1996. We are in the current year but we use fictional teams.

I don't have OOTP2007 yet but I will probably buy it sooner rather than later. I know your league is full but people will bail. It happens in our league all the time. There are a lot of people that just hate the pace. I guess when you are used to simming 21 games a week I can see how some people wouldn't like it. I might be interested in a team in the future when they become available. What is the best way to get on a waiting list.

Don't forget about my boy and fellow Memphis alum Dan Uggla. Hope he builds on the season he had last year. He may end up being one of the better 2b in the NL behind Utley.

Yeah i think we have plenty of big bats available, but as ever the rotation / bullpen remains the big question mark for the Rockies - although its probably the most settled it has been in the past few years - and with a few good prospects coming up fast, things might be falling into place.

Playing out the games was fun, but it's among the reasons I don't play in that league anymore. It was too much of an advantage. Bullpen usage, in particular, made teams who played games out quite a bit better than those who did not. It was better when you could at least play hot-seat head-to-head.

I will be setting up a thread for a waiting list over the weekend.

Activated your account.

Its been suggested we offer those on it to be Asst GMs or player development director positions to manage and look after the minors, You wouldn't have direct access to the game, but could worlk with the GM

Yep...Dan Uggla is the man at 2b if he can just cut down on his errors but i think that he will be vastly improved. The man to watch on the mound is Anibal Sanchez. Threw a no-no last year and he could be another P. Martinez if he can get better control of his pitches,

He's got to keep his errors down though but i think that could be a real breakout season for him.

I think the Mets rotation issues will be a far bigger problem in OOTP than in real life. No runaways in this league. I doubt the roster set will give John Maine the ratings he deserves and will not have Pelfrey as major league ready as he looks to be. Will we be starting with guys on longterm DL as in real life? (ahem, Pedro?)
