I was one of the 100 "winners" selected for the Preview and I have some things to say.

Like most or some of you here, I too was a bit set-back due to the new interface in 2006. At times it appeared to be "clunky" and just awkward to navigate around. Well, I will tell you that the feel of OOTP 6 / 6.5 is back. I mean the interface has not changed in regards to how it looks but the ability to navigate is much....much...very much improved. This is how I would imagine OOTP 6.5s' older brother would be or in other words "OOTP 6.5 all grown up". Now, I didn't ask for permission from Marc or Markus to post this so I hope I do not get into trouble but OOTP2007 is vastly improved in so many areas. Many things have been brought back that where "missing" from 2006. I won't go into what has be reintroduced into the game as I am sure you already read many threads from Markus/Marc regarding this. But I just want to say that 2007 is very solid in terms of what it offers. From league structure to AI trading - it's solid. Setting up a league is now much easier but it's also fun because of all the options you are given. You thought 2006 gave you options right off the bat?.......well, OOTPBB2007 knocks the hell out of 2006. I'm really happy and most of all, I'm excited. Since this is more a hobby to me than just playing a game I can actually say OOTPBB2007 is everything 6.5 offered, everything 2006 offered (in terms of additions and features) and it doesn't stop there as more is pilled on the plate but this time stability and artificial intelligence has far more to offer to the end-user then ever before.

OOTPBB2007 is going to be one helluva ride man.

Great to hear, I've been concerned about the interface, sounds like it is a lot easier to navigate this time around though...

Good news. I've been worried that we were going to get another version of 2006. It doesn't look that way, and that is good news.

According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Have any of the preview winners been able to make a realistic Middle Earth baseball league yet?

There are many posters around here that occasionally bring up this Middle Earth nonsense, but you, sir, are a hobbitual offender.

If I had to sum up OOTP 2007 in one sentence, I'd say it is everything I hoped OOTP 2006 would be. I am very impressed!

But I want female leagues, damnit! (Seriously, I do. It's probably not in my top 10 though.)

I still enjoy 06, but I am extremely glad to see 07 is converting people that did not care for 06!

I just wanted to quick throw my 2 cents in and say that the AI is MUCH better. It makes it more challenging which for me makes it a much more fun game to play.
