So far, yesterday I just sampled, LATE last night, I created one Historical League, and one completely fictional league.
As I was going through, and then later progressing in those leagues I have kept a log of things that could be problems. Originally I had 6 things on my list. Keep in mind I'm going real slow. The historical league is in season 6 and the fictional league is at the end of April. Out of the six, 4 of them I figured out that it was either me not knowing what I was doing or I was missing something and finding it later. The only two things I have are so far. In the transaction screen my wheel on my mouse doesn't work, it has worked everywhere else though. I haven't tried this with other skins, just maple but, the upper part of the middle of the screen, the part that is maple wood where it would say "show batter list" or "View Opponent" for example. You have chose white as the color for the text. I have a 19 inch monitor, so its not the size but I think the the light on light colors. You really have to squint to make it out. I'm not hunting for problems, I'm just playing like I normally would and writing things down that come up. I will let ya know if I find more. |

What does one say, but thanks for being so on top of things, guys! No game I've ever known comes out without opportunities for tweaks and fixes, but a patch so prompt ... excellent support by the gang at .400! Now, if only other software companies could even try to come as close to this?

Man, too bad .400 can't take over microsoft. Imagine it. An opporating system with useful help sections that didn't crash. I'd bank on it that every problem I've had (and they've been rare) is soley assocatied with Windows. Ah, only in a perfect world.

I know it's been mentioned, but it's not in this thread. The comments can't be seen on the trade screen no matter what skin you use.

DD, OOTP 5 seems to use BMP's for HTML reports. Thats what they defaulted to for my league and the BMP's worked. Remember that the picture from version 4 got on the website from a user created utility and not from OOTP directly.

I noticed when i switched to church's new skin that you can see what they are thinking now...his skin has a grey instead of black background there.

Slight Problem
I've looked around but haven't seen anyone mention this problem yet. Last night I created a fictional league with 40 teams. All cities were randomized and I held a draft of players that were on the 2002 rosters. Everything worked fine and I got through a week of playing. I noticed though that one team, and it's mine don't know if that is a coincidence or not, has players showing up on the league leader's list of the other league. I went through the leaderboard and couldn't find any instance of this happening except for my players. Is this a big deal? Not really but I just thought I should point this out in case you hadn't heard about it before.
Great game!! |

Would it be possible for a list of fixes to be posted? It might save some repeat posting. Though if it would be a waste of time as the patch is almost upon us, that would be all right, as well.

It is incredible that Markus is thinking about a patch the day the game comes out. Thanks for that kind of dedication
