*** 5.01 Patch News ***

OK guys. Overall I have to say, compared to the number of people which have already purchased OOTP, the number of reported problems is very small. I am very pleased with this release!

So, on to the patch news. I'll code it until Monday or Tuesday,
since I want to wait a couple more days in case there are more problems popping up. Then one night of testing and then on Wednesday you'll get the 5.01 version!

Due to the limited number of problems, I'm assuming that our existing careers will work after the game is patched to 5.01?

Not at the present time, we are examining the issues mentioned and performing more tests ourselves to determine what needs attention.

before I get too far on my facepacks, I'd love to know for sure that the game will continue to accept bmps AND jpgs for player photos (bmps in the player screen, jpgs in the html report).

Yes, DD....I actually have some bitmaps that I was using in an OOTP4 and some jpegs that I hadn't converted to bitmaps yet.

They both work in the same league at the same time.
