What a start to the season. Beating the Kangaroo's, who always give us a tough match, and also Perez beating Darchinyan for the flyweight title. That's one hell of an upset.

Cheers for the ex-Tomatoes. 5-3-0 (4) is not bad.

Especially Eddie Cook KO'ing Alfonso Zamora and Oba Carr W-S12 over Marlon Starling

As for Chuvalo, he could never beat Schmeling (0-5-0) and is one of the reasons I had to let him go.

Mando Ramos is a quality 5-rated guy that I kind of regret letting go.

Nice comeback in yours. Looked like Bears Unstable had the Muckboys down and out at the halfway point.
Congrats Sal,yeah you got a little payback. However,I am satisfied with a couple of fighters. The DQ's hurt, but my welterweights finally seem to be fighting up to their ratings. I still have high hopes for the season..and think you will be a force to be reckoned with by everyone. Lets take it to some of these noobs and vets...us sophomores need to leave our mark. LOL. Take it easy. Congrats to all the first round winners. <--mad at the stupid DQs..lol.

Wow...definitely a rough way to start off your franchise with an opening week matchup with the Beavers. Still,I think the noobs have fared pretty well all things considered. Good job Sal..I like the haltime score..just sort of gives a nice feel to the matchup. Mexivilles look to be improved and some of the usual top guys look as ready as ever. Should be a fun season. I must start winning...losing is not acceptable...lol. Take care fellas.

Yeah I really like the 1/2 time scores ... makes for a better read than knowing the score out of the box.

The new way of posting the matches kick the crap out of the old way. It's nice being able to see how the match unfolded without knowing the final score beforehand.

There are a few cross-over participants already, but for the rest of you, sign-ups for the 1906 (3rd) season of the horse betting game are under way.

It's been a lot of fun and we have had a few people from outside our boxing basement fraternity involved.

Check out the sign-up thread or the REC Betting Window thread to see if you might be interested.

The commitment is minimal as you just place bets on weekly races and can come and go as you please. You can dig into the horses' past records and traits or just wing it and bet on who has a nice name and pretty silks.

Sorry Scott, end of thread jacking.
