I've never heard of it until now. Who's it made by?

This game is awesome, I had this game a few years back!! The company stopped producing it but then I saw this!! If they still have the modders this game could be potentially massive!!

If I didn't have to work today, I would be at home checking this game out right now. It looks like the best basketball game ever...

Google, what a wonderful idea. Yeah, it's stupid they don't make it easy to find on their own site though.

Is this game better then Draft Day Pro Basketball? I Noticed it has more Leagues then Draft Day Pro Basketball does.

I am still waiting for a sim-based basketball game that actually has real NBA players. Why the OOTP crew have not done an NBA version is beyond me? We should all petition them and demand that either an NBA version is produced within the next 3 years or we will stop buying ootp all together (except I would still buy it and not tell anyone)

Licensing costs for the big three North American sports leagues are prohibitively expensive. The problem for SI and Grey Dog and other text sim makers is that the fee is generally flat. So that's good for 2K Sports and EA Sports (although the latter had to pay over $300 million for their NFL contract) because that fee gets spread out over millions of units. As cool as we think these text sims are, they're a niche market, and don't see millions of sales. The only one that possibly comes close would be Worldwide Soccer Manager because of its global appeal, but I doubt even that game reaches seven figure sales numbers. There's no way a text sim can afford licensing with a major league nowadays.

Yeah I have heard this same argument. I guess it depends on how gutsy the game designer is and whether or not the league would want to even fight this battle out on a smaller simulation type game. Some people argue that Baseball Mogul is crossing the line sending out their game with links to the Lehman database.

Yes it does, the designer is Gary Gorski of the Total Pro basektball series. His games usually recreate realistic stats however I have mentioned on more then 1 occasion that I get frustrated with the amount of lopsided scores. Too many games IMO are decided by over 10 points. I havent actually gotten into too much depth with this game because there were a lot of bugs upon inital release. I think with the latest patches it should be very playable now.
