Is it just me, or does that FaceGen face look kinda eerily like Derek Jeter?

You can't hand place the logo, but you can manipulate where it goes in how you create the logo. For the Yankees, you'd make a transparent image that's 300px wide and place the logo on the right hand side of that. Make sense?

Nothing like Jeter at all.
Matter of fact someone suggested earlier that it looked like Andy Pettite.

Pettite and Jeter were seperated at birth. The surpressed transmissions made that clear.

Not sure about Jeter, but FaceGen has an eery tendency on my computer to spit out faces who like people I went to school with. Good for the realism, bad for my sense of deja vu.

Can't wait for the game to come out and threads like "post your Ron Jeremy facegen lookalike" start popping up (no pun intended)

I think if his eyes were a little more spaced apart...it would dead-on Jeter.

This feature is looking better every day I check in. Oddly, as somebody else said as well, I've missed this thread the past few days.

I'd like that too one day.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Have you made that request in the suggestions forum?

The button is already there

We're only needing HTML templates to create an HTML page in the "external browser" (Internet Explorer or Firefox or whatever, just not the in-game browser) with the player picture and the team logo and the player name, also a template for the back of the card with whatever you want to see there. Please just post and discuss them here on the forums, give me a note, and they might find the way into the game

The above is an example of the back of a baseball card. Just as an example Andreas. The main parts:

Top section with vitals, college background, etc.

Middle section with player stats year by year.

Bottom section maybe have factoids about the player or history of achievements (aka, MVP, batting titles, gold gloves, etc.)

The front side could have the player pic, team logo and player name and number.

Just some suggestions. Maybe some other guys can come up with some specifics they would like to see. Personally, I think the idea of in game player cards is a FANTASTIC idea. I'd love to see the possibilities with this.

Is there a request forum for 2007? Or do you mean in the 2006 request forum.

I have a request/suggestion for facegen uniforms: It's not anything major but might help with appearances.

I noticed looking at the screenshots that the "undershirt" looks like it is either on top of or a part of the uniform itself. I know Andreas is working on the size of the undershirt exposure, but I think some sort of trim line is needed for the uniform itself right at the v-neck area.

Also is there a way to give some of these guys a bit more of a tan. I know a little about the FaceGen demo, and how it makes a lot of light skinned images, so I know that might be a problem that can't be fixed.

See the D-Backs player, he looks ghostly sick.

Sorry for the nit-picking.

Well, your first post that I linked to sounded like you were speaking of yourself. I am glad to hear that she is (also?) a Sox fan. You see, the only lingering doubt that I have is this: Were you indeed referring to yourself in that post, and are you actually the Yankees fan, and is your wife forcing you to use the Boston avatar and root for the Red Sox? I don't know you and to me this is still a possibility from what you have posted on the subject. If true, you have my sympathy. Of course, feel free to tell me to mind my own business, followed by:
It was merely an example. I have never like the Yankees, and that's putting REALLY mildly. Both me and my wife are Red Sox fans. For 2007 we are living in Germany for my current work assignment. We are going to miss watching the Sox and baseball in general. I told my boss that I plan to be rather grumpy come April (tongue in cheek).

I actually grew up a Blue Jays fan b/c I'm from the Buffalo/Rochester NY area. In '78 I went to my first MLB game in Toronto proudly wearing my blue and white Jays cap. All the kids from school were picking on me b/c they of course were Yankees fans. To top it off, the Yanks beat the Jays 5-3 on that day, which solidified my angst for the Yanks. I respect most Yankee players, but as a whole I do not like the team and only root for them if it helps the Sox.

Now 1998 Yankees, you're asking, "why are you a Sox fan rather than a Jays fan?" Growing up my Little League team was the Red Sox, so the Sox were always 2nd favorite to me. When I first moved to New England I was still a Jays fan through their WS championships in '92 & '93 (I have the WS DVDs for '92 & '93 as well as 2004), but I followed the Sox too and went to Sox games. Then the blackest year of them all came - the '94 strike. Ugh! After the strike I decided to switch my allegence to the Sox b/c it's so much easier to follow them in New England, and now I'm a diehard fan eating and breathing Red Sox. I proudly wear my Sox caps while here in Deutschland. Being a Sox fan where I live in the states is tough b/c I live in mostly Yankees country.

Probably more then you wanted to know, I suspect.
