It's a nice idea. Unfortunately, it won't be in 2007.

I like to quick sim to the 7th inning of a game and then take over. But I'd love to have a way to quick sim and takeover when certain key events take place.

For Example you could tell the game:

Quick sim to 7th inning, except stop if:
On Offense - Player reaches 2nd base & less than 2 outs
on Defense - More than 2 players reach base & less than 2 outs
On Defense - opposing team scores more than xx runs
Player becomes injured/ejected
Starting Pitcher becomes tired (or thrown over xx pitches)
Yes, I completely agree with you. I started a thread about simming to an event last week, and nobody responded. Maybe they will listen to you.

That would nice...because I can't tell you how many times I've "#1"d myself into a big mess...

Sorry to bump my own post, but this question kind of fell into the abyss of oddball injuries.

If you want to systemically rebuild the world, you are going to do it in Excel, not in the nation editor.

I've split up Germany, and made significant progress reunifying the ex-Soviet republics into the USSR, but there's a lot left to do. I found it pointless as this is not dynamic enough for me in OOTP 2007.

Using Excel makes it very fast.

I believe I read somewhere that 2007 suggests the number of draft rounds for the league size you are running (though can't find where I read it right now).
This is definately a good feature.

Does anyone know (roughly) the ratio of feeder league teams to drafting teams? For instance if you had a 24 team league, how many teams would you need in your feeder league in order to produce the required number of players for the draft?
