My suspicion is that in this day and age of huge media conglomerates you'll see more and more of this type of thing, to the point of games being blacked out thousands of miles away.

i think if they offered exclusive access to ONE team for $100, it'd sell like hotcakes. I don't care to see Houston playing San Diego - I only care to see the Indians since I live in Chicago and only get to see them when they play the sox.

It takes a special kind of arrogance for a sports league to intentionally make itself as inaccessible as possible. No professional sports league in North America takes its fans for granted as much as MLB.
