xbox 360 sports games

Got one for my son for Xmas .. which sports games have multi players dynasty/franchise modes. I was told that NCAA 2007 football wasn't any good for it.

Which college basketball and pro basketball games have multiplayer ... how is madden? Any other sports recommendations since these are the only games I will play with him on there.

actually the only game I think is all that great for the 360 is NCAA 07.

we had a league with 8 different players controlling all different teams and had a great time.

Madden is far better on PC or current gen - very limited on the franchise depth. One of the things that bothers me most is that on the xbox my son and I could play together, me as the AB and him as the RB. Unfortunely the 360 version doesn't allow 2 players on the same team.

I hear a lot of good things about the 2k sports NBA 07 - but I didn't like it. My 8 year old son did like all the little mini game stuff - but I just couldn't get into the game, I actually preferred the current gen EA version.

I do really like the 2k hockey 07 title - a lot of fun to play - but my son and I always play on the same team, so I don't know how well multi player is.

Tiger Woods 07 - is also supposed to be really good, but I just got it from Game Fly today so I haven't played it all, but same guys I played NCAA with all play it and say it is great. we did have fun playing 06, especially the mini-games.

I thought last years 2k Baseball was OK - game play was pretty fun, but I didn't care much for the franchise aspect.

I don't know if 2k7 does the multiplayer franchise thing or not. It is *really* hard. Very, very realistic. If you let up on D, you will get pounded by your opponent. Learning how to intimidate in the low box is a must. My one gripe with pretty much all basketball games is that it's sometimes hard to tell exactly where a guy is on the court; it looks like you're right in place to draw a charge or to swat away a shot attempt when in fact you're off to one side and giving your man a wide open lane to the basket.
