Celtic is a tough place to go and get a positive result in Europe, and a traditional battle of Britain inevitably results in lots of cards and a high injury risk. Why take the risk when they might well already have qualification secured? Why pick a fight they might not win when should they require the final point they have a home fixture against notoriously poor travellers in which to pick it up? The only way I can see United taking part in a traditional British match is if they play the reserves. If the first team or fringe players are playing everyone will have one eye on Chelsea and I’d expect them to try and slow it right down and take the sting out the game, in all likelihood paying more attention to the clean sheet that will see them through. Celtic have to win so United can just keep a solid shape, invite Celtic onto them and hit them on the break. |

Are you kidding me Ferguson will have them fired up don't you worry, ex Rangers player will not want the Old Firm enemy putting one over on him plus 60,000 Celtic fans screaming for blood wont let this game just drift away into nothing. Celtic will go for the win the Celtic faithfull wont give them any choice but even the worst case tonight is they lose and can still go through, Benfica beat Copenhagen puts them on 7pts above Celtic on 6pts then United beat Benfica which leaves them on 7pts and Celtic beat Copenhagen which puts them on 9pts, depending on how UEFA decides on a tie a draw against Copenhagen could be enough. |

Read it but dunno, never having watched the J League nor read about it as no coverage on it over here unless you count the frenzy that was Toe Injury, I can't really comment about it. |

Honestly don't think 60,000 Celtic fans will allow it to become anything but a fired up game, Celtic players will go in full blooded that's certain also have to wait for the Man Utd team but if players like Neville, Giggs, Scholes, Ferdinand, Brown, Carrick, Fletcher, Smith, Rooney, O'Shea, Richardson play they all know what a British game is all about even Heinze and Vidic (who impresses me) can't play low key, only player who wont be fired up until he gets his first kicking of the game will be Ronaldo.

I think these two walkie people are cute and lovely. I know what you all will think, but I hope they bring them out to buy as they are brilliant IMO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YeA0FD-8EyY I think it's the best advert this year by far. |

There was a collection of goalie mistakes on a video somewhere (Weimer showed me the link) and one of them had the goalie gearing up for a long throw from the box. Somehow, the ball didn't release when he wanted it to and he threw it into his own goal.

SDPM..I should probably know better, but..are you going to watch the Celtic match? As a football fan wouldnt it be worthwhile to watch for the atmosphere alone?
