PCL, Cuban and fictional logos request

This is kind of a specific art request, which I try not to do too often, but Church spoiled me and now I want everything to match. If someone can create logos along this style I will be very grateful. At least try to go with the black border, slight white border inside and an older art style. If you can't do the graininess, that's fine. The teams that I'm hoping to get logos for are...

Pacific Coast League - I need a logo for the league, just the PCL letters would be fine unless you can think of something else.
Hollywood Stars
Los Angeles Angels
Oakland Oaks
Portland Beavers
Sacramento Solons
San Diego Padres - The old Padres logo with the monk with the bat would be nice.
San Francisco Seals
Seattle Rainiers

Cape Cod Baseball League - League logo, whatever you think looks good.

Colonial Association - League logo, blue circle with 13 stars please
Annapolis Five Stars
Boston Patriots
Charleston Black Bears
Concord Explorers
Dover Blue Rocks
Halifax Friars
Hartford Nutmeggers
Montepelier Mountaineers
New York City Knights
Philadelphia Bell Men
Providence Whalers
Richmond Monarchs

I'm aware there is a set of Cuban logos out there, but the design is too 'modern' for my world.

Cuban Baseball League - League logo, whatever you like.
Camaguey Ceramists
Ciego de Avila Tigers
Cienfuegos Shrimp
Granma Sorrels
Guantanamo Indians
Havana Lions
Holguin Hounds
Industriales Cowboys
Isla de la Juventud Sugar Kings
Las Tunas Magicians
Matanzas Crocodiles
Metropolitanos Warriors
Pinar del Rio Cigar Makers
Sancti Spiritus Roosters
Santiago de Cuba Wasps
Villa Clara Foresters

Thanks guys.

Kelric, I'll try and see what I can do for the Cuban logos. I'm not yet quite familiar how far back in time these specific teams go, as far as logos go. I think the ones I gathered from the internet probably date back to about the early 90's, when the league structure changed to it's current form. But anyways, there is a set I can link you to or post here that was made by another board member some time ago that clearly fits the style you are looking for. In addition, it's been a few days and no other replies yet for you. I'll see if I can tackle a few logos for you if Church hasn't already.

Here is rocknfire7's cuban logo set: http://www.allsimbaseball.com/index....d=17&Itemid=49
They are a collection of modern logos and other sources modified to look like a wool patch. They are currently in .bmp format, however. Here is one example:

Take a look and see if that's what you like even if the logos themselves are still 'modern'. We can go from there if you'd like.

Kelric, No Pepper....I can convert my old bmp's to png's. I still have the photoshop files so it shouldn't be a problem. Will this be ok.

Here are other examples of that type of logo.... ( next post)

That wool patch style would great and I'd appreciate you converting it over.

That was a good set rocknfire7, thanks for making the conversion. How did you create that effect?

I used the grain and diffuse in photoshop. On a few I used the sharpen tool and some other tweaks also. I can't stand cartoonish silly logos so I made a lot of them more mature looking

Some of the logos might look slightly different because adding black will no longer be a problem. Also I will try to get the hex codes as well.

Give me a day or two to get them done and posted.

Kelric, please post what you're finding with league totals, which I assume are for the Cuban League. I am currently doing this myself but to reflect real 2005-6 levels but cannot get you my modifiers at the moment. I know southside_hitmen is also working on this but possibly with multi-year averages.

I just noticed that Villa Clara and Isla de la Juventud have different logos, so I will try to get those changed to what you requested soon

In the mean time ..........

I'm getting across the board issues. It's simply that one year the entire world will explode in homeruns (for example, my PCL hit over 9000 homeruns in one season) for no explainable reason. But despite all of these homeruns, the league average runs per game might be only 3 or so. Then the next year the runs per game stays about the same, but the world leader in homeruns might barely have 5. This alternates year to year. I haven't touched the game in the last couple of days, but I'm simply going to restart everything and play with the numbers a bit.

Here is my setup so far. Mind you, it does contain a developmental league but what I'm showing here is the parent league. I also had to make changes to /data/config/engine file to increase wild pitches and error frequencies. 180 for both error frequencies and 133 for WP frequency. You don't have to make these changes as it will affect all your leagues, I think, but it will give you the ~FAvg for the Cuban League, which is ~.970. These are by no means what I call "precise" but have gotten me in the ballpark with a notable exception of a high league ERA: 5.30-5.80 compared to real life 4.70s. Haven't yet looked into where the extra runs (if any) are coming from--that's next. League leaders have been consistent year-in year-out.

This isnt the PCL of course, but adjusting these settings if they're different from default takes a lot of time and patience, with no guarantees.

Since I'm a genius, after just deleting the league that I had been testing with that gave me the funky totals, I just realized I hadn't saved a template of my world. So I get to make it all over again. Awesome.

Ah well, it'll give me something to do tomorrow afternoon.

Laziness, as I haven't touched OOTP all week. Shame. It used to be a game I'd play almost daily.
