I have been critical of the state of the game in a couple threads this week, but if all these fixes work well then this will be a HUGE step in the right direction. I still enjoy the game, even with its flaws to this point, and this is a HUGE list of improvements. And the save/load feature for universe creation is an excellent surprise.

P.S. Any way you could squeeze in that league-specific financial coefficient I've been asking for. Really saves time multiplying/dividing all the financial values if you're creating a bunch of different leagues, and for a programmer of your caliber it would probably take about 5 minutes.

Anyways, this patch looks to be very impressive.

I very much hope that this makes it into a future patch. Sometimes I forget about a guy I have on the DL (especially if it is 10-12 months) and I leave the guy on the DL extra time that I didnt need to.

So to post this again but these are they easy to add to Patch 1.02 I think. Because these are just little things to add that would make the game more funner.
how about the ability to release are Players and Pitchers in a Quickstart and then do a Fantasy Draft

As long as the quickstart begins BEFORE Spring Training starts, this will now be possible...and I'm pretty sure this was the first thing Marc mentioned.

Have a real Expansion Draft and it would be same way as the rule 5 Draft but Players and Pitchers from your 40 man roster would also be available but the only ones you submit on list will be available for the Expansion team or teams to Draft if they want to Draft them.

An interesting way to handle expansion, and might actually be able to be done if modelled after the Rule 5 draft...for a future version.

Automatic relocation if a computer team can get a new stadium/Dome to be built.

This whole "new stadium" thing would need to be implemented first. Plus, this game is not about team OWNERSHIP, but team MANAGEMENT.

Minor League relocation if we don't renew are release with one of are minor league teams or they get purchased by another team

Again, you would need to have lease agreements in the game first, which is again an OWNERSHIP thing.

The ability to pick how many teams make the Playoffs in the MLB League because it has 3 Division and I want to have 8 teams from each league make the Playoffs

Ummm...you've been able to do this since Day One.

How many Interleague games their are,Sprign Training Stadiums/Domes,Split Sqaud games in Spring Training

You can always edit the schedule, and change where ST games are played.

From NHL Eastside Hockey Manager Rumor Mill,Invite for a Tryout to Camp but it would be as non roster Player and Pitcher,Trading Block,Unsigned Prospects Page but in a Baseball format because we should be able to sign our Draft Picks after the Draft is over and then assign them to the Minors and if we don't sign them by a certain date they have to reenter next years Draft,

These might allready be in the game Black Monday,Wavier Trades,Futures Games,other Leagues All-Star Games and Postseason
Mid Season Rankings for the up and coming Drafts and also have people who are won't be available to drafted intill a up and coming draft meaning lets say somebody created a 2006 league they would inlcude College Players and Pitchers who would be available for the up and coming draft meaning in the 2007 draft it would the Seniors because we don't know what Underclassman or High Schoolers are going to declare for the 2007 draft yet

The game only creates a pool of draft eligible players. There are NO "underclassmen ineligible for the draft." It has been said many times that there is no way to emulate college baseball or have players from one league feed the drafts of others.

Dude, if you want all of this stuff, why not just get a job with a minor league baseball team? Then you can get the full experience.

Rainouts was never a feature of prior versions of OOTP, but rain was a factor during individual games.

I believe one of the beta testers (Raidergoo?) said they had not tested this feature, so I don't think it's coming back... (at least as of yet.)

This is true. All you can do is toggle playoffs between having wildcards or not, then the game decides how many there are and how many rounds the playoffs need to be based on the number of divisions and teams. This is stated in the Game Guide.

Very Cool! This is definitely one of the most irritating aspects of the game, especially when returning to pages that contain long lists. Thanks!

Outstanding! I stopped using foreigner limits altogether in my leagues because of this bug.

Markus, as always, has come through in the clutch for us. The man is indefatigable & never disappoints.

If you add more dvision to your MLB league more teams will make the Playoffs.
It would be fun to be the Owner,Manager,Bench,Pitching,Hitting,Bullpen,3rd and 1st Base Coach and so on.
Know NHL Eastside Hockey Manager has College Hockey in it so it would be fun for this game to have College Baseball in it. Let say the Yankees drafted a Pitcher by the name of El Monday but he decides to sign a letter of intent to play for the Florida State either Yankees can't assign him to one of it's Minor League teams intill the Person decides to join the Yankees or go back in the Draft in a couple of years. In NHL Eastside Hockey Manager if you were to try and sign John T. before the 2007 Draft it would say will be available for 2007 draft.
It would be fun to see in the news that the Memphis Red Birds have relocated to Columbia,MO or the Marlins are applying for relocation because they can't get a new Dome Built in Miami.

Marc and/or Marcus can you please read some of the previous posts in this string regarding a human controlling all actions for all teams and please repond. We have had several conflicting posts regarding fixes for this. Currently there is NO way of a human controlling all aspects of every team without setting up a human manager for every single team, and then you still would not receive all of the information pertaining to any of the other teams except for the team that you have as your active profile. For us who run leagues and enjoy setting strategies for all teams, we really need a fix for this issue. I know for myself, I have not even been able to use the game yet, and I know others are going through the same thing. I like to play "GOD" mode, and control all teams. I am trying to not complain, but I would love once and for all a final word on this. I have also tried to e-mail you three times on this issue and have received no response.

I've used the Foreign Percentage factor set at zero with great success in this area.

All I know is I'll be glad to have the 1 and 2 man pitching rotations option. I just finished simming 1882 and it was a pain because my American Association teams kept trading pitchers or some deal 'cause they kept having an illegal number of pitchers (less than 3).
