Is Mac Preorder up and I'm just missing it, or is it not there yet?
Also, any mac tester care to give me a performance heads up on how my (minimum requirements) g4 powerbook will handle it? |

According to the game guide, the G4 needs to be 1 GHz with 256 RAM.
Of course, that's the minimum... |

I would guess it will be dog slow with only 256... it may run, though. OS X in general is much slower with 256 MB and even somewhat with 512.

So, I should be okay with 768, you think?

I've been testing on a 1.25 GHz G4 Powerbook with 512 RAM and while it's not blazing, it's reasonably fast, even with the full complement of default leagues.

Greatly-interrupted-dola,
I have yet to run a large multi-season sim on the Powerbook, but I'll get that going tonight and report back. ![]() *If you have a quad, it's freaking smoking fast.

1 Ghz really the minimum reqs?
Ouch... I hope RAM's more important to performance than CPU speed, because my 1 Ghz Powerlogix upgrade is not exactly blazing fast. But then, I do have a gig and a half of RAM |
