What a play he made. Adams would have thrown the ball into the stands, more than likely.

Hopefully he is ok to go today. I'm not sure about that Figueroa guy.

Of course they could just go with Glaus at SS again.

Well maybe he'll get his first MLB hit today.

If he stays error-free I'll be happy.

Wow, I never realized that Figueroa was so old. I thought he was a no-name prospect, but he's 32. He looks 15, though. He also had a cup of coffee with the Pirates back in 2001.

You know, I should be quite happy taking two of three from the White Sox.

Unfortunately , those damned Devil Rays and Royals both were swept against Boston and New York.

KC beat NY Friday night didn't they? Or was I dreaming?

Two of three against the Sox is nothing to sneeze at. Hopefully they'll take at least two of three against those other Sox this week. The Jays have outclassed Boston so far this season.

On a side note, I wonder how many people won't attend the game tonight, assuming the TTC strike is still on. What a pain.

I believe they called off the strike, didn't they? At least that's what I heard.

Yesterdays game was Vernon Wells Bobble head doll giveaway. I thought a nice twist would have been an AJ Pierzynski punching bag day.

I tried starting a "Michael Barrett" chant when he was up, but no one joined in.

Yeah, strike's over at 5 I think.

The bobblehead looked absolutely nothing like Wells in my opinion. I think the Hinske one is one of the better ones they've had.

Jays seem to have lots of great potential. If they can get pitching settled down this team could be a true contender. Maybe if Burnett decides he's ok pitching this year.

Yeah, the plan was to give him 10 games at AA as a "tryout" but Johnny Mac's injury changed that.

Actually, he has been a decent hitter throughout his career, so who knows, maybe he will get back on track.

A hit and run with Bengie on base. If the batter had hit it they may still have turned the DP.

Good game though. Bats are hot.

Let's hope Roy can hold the lead. Manny just crushed that ball.

And the Jays win!

Am I the only one who heard Campbell say "he gone" when Ryan struck out the 2nd batter of the inning?

Campbell trying to become more of a homer or something?

Anyways, good win. Character builder for sure. Your starter pitches a good game, bullpen blows it, you take the lead back.

2.5 out of first.

Glad they won but would have been funny to see BJ Ryan bat.
