I have ADD so no offense. But I will say this about your post. Usually there is a text support forum and I am sure that one will be made for bug reports etc. Someone usually has an answer or workaround to the problem and so I don't think we have anything to worry about. Just speaking as a beta tester, the beta forum will continue after the release of the game. The best bet, IMHO would be to take a look at the credits in the game and find a name that you know and let him know of a bug you found. He can check the forum and let you know if it has been reported.

I also think they may even have a forum dedicated to bug reports for the public. Just a guess here.

The beta team is very dedicated to helping find the bugs and release a bug free program, but as stated, all programs have bugs. (With the exception of Microsoft's solitaire!!') (Not even a buffer overflow problem there!)

The thing about the game, it is so complex, so many options, scenarios, setups, it boggles the mind.

However, do not BUG the beta testers, as we have been working so hard testing the game, our fun as been limited and we have a lot of fun to catch up on.

You see the very first two articles, Try OOTP for free and Markus blogs 1-6? They are marked sticky so they always stay at the top of the forum. Sticky articles tend to have many useful facts and answers to common questions.

To be honest, and this is really reaching for the sky here, the best way you can help with the inevitable bug fixes, when we get there, will be to follow these three rules:

1. Don't overreact. There's nothing that makes anyone less willing to help out or prioritize something than a person accusing SI of ruining their life or destroying their league because such-and-such a bug got into the game. If it's a serious bug, present it as serious, but don't inflame the situation by injecting your anger into it.

2. Try to replicate the bug. There's nothing harder to fix in computer stuff than bugs that the tech support/programming team can't replicate. Bugs can get fixed FAR faster if you can say, "It does this every time when you do a, b, and then click c."

3. Be as descriptive as possible. What, specifically, were you doing when the bug happened? Was it in the middle of sim? When you clicked a button? Was there an error message? If so, what did it say? Is this an online league? Fictional? How many years into the league history? Commissioner mode or no? And so forth.

Anyway, them's my thoughts.

My computer is the perfect example of this. It's been giving me fits of late with random, seemingly unexplainable lock-ups. I decided to count the number I was getting.

Saturday: 5 lock-ups.
Sunday: 7 lock-ups.
Monday: None. Not a single one.

And on all three days I used the computer for exactly the same kind of stuff. Darned if I can figure out what's going on...
