OOTP 6 vs. OOTP2006,

I currently have OOTP6 on my computer (no updates to 6.5 or anything). If I download OOTP2006, will that interfere at all? Could I use the ootp2006 to export to my older league?

Well, you're going to have to wait until OOTP2006 comes out to download it, for starters.

I know that, but I'm just wondering if I should go ahead and get it.

I'd suggest taking a look at all the blogs and screenshots at www.ootpbaseballmanager.com to see if you think you want the new version. It looks to me like it's going to be just an insane amount of improvement over the current version, though.

Since you've missed the discount period, you might as well wait. There's really no benefit to pre-ordering now.

If it's anything like the past, you should be able to run both games at the same time without problem.

As for whether you can export from your OOTP2006 game to an OOTP6 online league, I'd be shocked if that was possible. The other way would be more likely, but even that I'm be shocked by.

If what you really mean is: will we be able to convert an OOTP6 league to an OOTP2006 league, what we've been hearing is: yes, but not everything will convert, some things will be lost and some will be made up.

I guess if I could run both things at the same time, that would be acceptable.
