A little help please

Hi, my friend asked me to buy this game for him using my credit card (he doesn't have one). He has no internet connection at his place, the plan was for me to download and buy the game and then send it to him.
Is that possible? Will it work?
I personally don't like baseball (no offense meant) so this is all for him.

What you get is a Order ID when you buy the game, and that code is what you put in when you register the game.

So, if you buy it with your card, the game will be in your name, but you can give your friend the Order ID and he can install the game with it on his computer. You actually can install on two computers with the same order ID.

Is it possible to register the game on a computer with no internet connection though?

Yes, but elicense has to walk a person through it.

Thanks for all your replies. So Elicense has to walk him through it? Hehe, I hope they can email the info cause we're in Philippines and overseas calls are waaaay expensive.

You might want to check out some "internet telephony" options. It's basically just making a phone call using the internet. It's much cheaper.

EDIT: If you make enough long distance calls to make the effort worthwhile that is.

Well, you can do it offline pretty easily.

There should be an option of 'register game offline'. After you enter your order ID, that generates a code. Your pal will have to give you that code, and then you enter it into the elicense website. This in turn generates a file which you take back to him, and then he just copies and pastes the data from that file into a window the 'register offline' option provides.
