HTML Look and Feel

As we all know, the game generates HTML for its reports that can be used on web site. Most web sites I have seen use the standard colors for those pages. It is possible from within the game to change these colors or is it something people are doing manually after the reports are generated?

You can change the look and feel by modifying the stylesheet. Matter of fact, you can build a complete new interface around the HTML if you want.

This is created by just modifying the stylesheet and adding a small handful of wrapper HTML pages.

It's a file in the same directory as the reports....I don't have the game here at work, but I think it's called styles.css.

Not in game. The stylesheet is called styles.css and is in the root of the folder where you generate the HTML.

I just store my own stylesheet and the other files in a separate directory and then copy all the files on into the HTML directory after OOTP is done generating the HTML.

Just don't create/modify your files in the same directory that OOTP uses. It deletes everything and anything in that directory. So you'll want to make a copy of the directory and use that as your working folder while you work on your own stylesheet.

I would imagine that some of the OOTP download sites have different stylesheets on hand as well. I'm pretty sure I've seen them being collected in the online forum, think I've contributed mine to them way back when.

I did not create them. They are the work of one of our fine founding GMs, Redmark. But he has made them available to anyone and they are downloadable from HFTC for anyone to use.
