hmm, doesn't look like a dodgers cap I have. I only have two LA dodgers caps.

By default, the game seems to be using the "special" cap design (which is that light blue color).

OK, the uniform mod has a ballcaps folder, while OOTP23 has a caps folder. Is this part of the problem?

I reinstalled OOTP23 and reinstalled the historical uniform mod. For some reason, the game chooses the "special" version of the LA Dodgers cap and the "spring" version of the NY Yankees jersey. Any idea why?

Trying to get to use the historical uniforms with the new OOTP24. I downloaded the zip file and installed the contents into the appropriate folders. Im obviously doing something wrong as I see two odd things in the game. 1. Every player has "SILVAM" as a name and is #14. At the same time, there is also the players real name and number. If I go into the editor and uncheck "show name" and "show number" then all it shows for every player is SILVAM #14. And then 2. for the non-SILVAM names and numbers they are always red in color regardless of the team colors.

Could someone please post what I need to do correctly. Also, do I need to delete everything or uninstall/reinstall the game?

Quick question, and it's more of a general one, but the examples I'm looking at are from this pack, so I thought I'd ask it here since I know I'll get a reply from an expert

I notice that for some teams, there is also a "...small.png" file. What is that used for? My assumptions are as follows:

1. They are used for the ballcap (and perhaps other places where a small logo would be appropriate).

2. In the absence of a "small" logo, OOTP will just use the main logo, assuming it exists, wherever a "small" logo might be used.

3. If a team has various non-small logos for certain eras, and a small logo, the small logo will be used for all of those years, even though the main logo changes.

For example, for the PCL's LA Angels there are main logos for 1880-1920, 1920-29, 1930-39, etc... and there's also a "small logo" without any year indicators. So I'm assuming that the main logo will change according to the season, but the small logo will be used on the ballcaps the entire time.

Am I close?

As far as I know. The small logos are used in the game standings and team drop-down pages and stuff like that

I installed the file, was working great untill the latest patch, now I am unable to see the jersey logo's in my 1975 replay, I did go into league settings, import ect, but still no jersey's. Any hints will be appreciated as this is a nice game touch. Thanks!

Not sure what is happening there as patches shouldn't mess with that. My game is fine

you should have the xml files for each franchise in your data/colors directory and all of the uniform files in their directories. The xml file loads should take care of everything

I think I have everything in correct folders, when I check on modify colors& uniforms, I see home and away uniforms, logo's ballcaps ect. but when I play a game, no uniform logos. I must have switched something around as I had them, really makes the game more realistic. Thanks again for your advice.

Is No Pepper still working on his Negro Leagues uniforms compatible with OOTP23 and OOTP24? I do not see NeL logos, caps, jerseys, and pants with the OOTP24 Historical v.1.2 package (the latest I think).

I am trying to set up a 1945 NeL season and I wish I had the uniforms compatible with OOTP24. The set of NeL uniforms I do have miss pants and sometimes has the front logo bleeding down with a duplicate lower on the front because they were created prior to OOTP23. Those who did create the NeL uniforms in the past did a great job but some teams are also missing away jerseys (if teams had them and I assume that finding primary sources are not easy).

Do I have reason to hope that No Pepper might someday complete his NeL logos and uniforms? Actually, those leagues with now recognized status for years 1920 through 1948 are now considered major league and perhaps those could eventually be placed with the other major league teams in some OOTP24 Historical v.1.x?

No Pepper will most likely release his negro league unis as a separate pack as this is done exclusively by him and the MLB historical uni pack is already at a large size, it would be good to give users only what they are interested in.

I am playing the 1960 World Series between Yanks and Pirates, I downloaded the 1960's mod, installed the ballcaps, jerseys, pants into the correct folders /saved games/Historical exhibitions.lg, but when I play a game just balnk uniforms, caps. Is there a setting in game play or what am I missing. If these weren't so impressive, I would move on, but---At least I finally figured out the ballpark settings, nice having these retro parks showing up, makes it truly special. Thanks for any advice.
