what happened to the planned football game?

I remember a year or so ago maybe longer lots of talk about a football game and now its just gone

I am guessing the project got dropped? Did they say why?

Front Office Football 8 is still available on Steam. Even though it is old it has very positive ratings on Steam. Too bad he didn't get to update it and sell through OOTP.

Long story short, the original developer passed away and they brought in Jim Gindin, who unfortunately wasn’t able to adapt FOF in time and eventually sold it off.
