3D Play-Name on the back - hyphenated first name
The back of the jersey should have an option in the player file to change to a hyphenated first name version for similar last names.
example, instead of multiple Jones: Atlanta...... C. Jones A. Jones It would be an option for the player, so not everyone would have this displayed......J.Bench NOT |

Good idea!
In my league's championship, which I watched play out even though my team wasn't in it, the eventual winning team had 3 Nakamuras in its starting lineup! And believe it or not, a 4th on the bench! I kid you not. And watching it was kind of funny because one of them is maybe the best hitter in the league so whenever a Nakamura came up I thought, "Uh oh, he's up again!... Oh, no, it's not him."

I'm not Japanese so I wouldn't really know, but I asked Gemini AI and it placed it 8th:

I'm actually a bit surprised OOTP hasn't implemented the idea already for its Korean users. Apparently 45% of Korean last names are either Kim, Lee, or Park.

Seems the OOTP Dev people could place an edit next to nicknames in the player file......sounds easy to me but I am of course not a programer(!)
