You should just need to make the same change.. if you open the .xml in notepad, look for TEAM_LOGO_60 or TEAM_LOGO_50 and just save it as TEAM_LOGO.

The .xml appears to be looking for the cityname_teamnickname_60.png files that OOTP used to create. You'd need to update that entry in the .xml to point to a logo file that OOTP is still producing....
