Hi all,

Back in 2019, I began posting some concepts for MLB expansion teams in a thread in this subforum. One thing led to another, and suddenly I had thirty new teams in my league, and eventually I had new redesigns for the existing MLB teams too. I haven't done much in the way of design lately (only Toronto has been substantially updated compared to my last posts in the mods forum), but I have finally gotten around to updating my existing designs given that they were all on the old pre-OOTP23 uniform templates. I think when I first started doing this, you couldn't even customize uniform pants... a lot has changed.

You can do whatever you like with these teams, of course, but I will also be posting a quickstart pretty soon that has all sixty teams in one big league with a pretty unique format (4 subleagues).

Over the next few days, I'll try to organize things in such a way that you can download one team at a time, and see what you're getting into before you download, but I've been working on the update process for a month or so, so I really wanted to get something out there.



The zip file contains:

• Full logo sets for 60 teams in major cities across the U.S. and Canada. I believe every logo that was used to create the jerseys & caps is in the logos folder, including jersey wordmarks.

• 2-5 uniforms for each team, with a total of 174 jerseys, 139 pairs of pants, 100 caps, 128 jersey fonts, and 63 pairs of socks

• The uniform preview images from eriqjaffe's uniform creator, without which none of this would exist

• The above wordmarks and the icons from the map

Note: a couple of the preview images are not accurate when it comes to jersey fonts - the Louisville road uniform should use the same font as the home uniform, and three of the Omaha uniforms' fonts use a custom effect that was not done in the Uniform Creator, so the fonts shown are placeholders

Looks like a cool project. I like the mix of team nicknames. Some from other sports, defunct teams and locally specific names. Like Hartford Oaks. I live in CT so I know about the Charter Oak. Guess you're not a NY fan. Burros. LOL

Much thanks, it's nice to be back in this space. I've spent almost all my time in the nearly dead OOTP25 section of the board lately For those like you who remember the originals, there won't be much new but at least they'll work with the new templates now.

Yeah, part of my original impetus for doing this was seeing a randomly generated team name in game that didn't make any sense. Every team has at least some reason behind its name for sure - I love learning about those local things (like the Charter Oak). Burros as in the 5 boroughs, for what it's worth

When I do get the quickstart posted, those are players that will be on each team! It's already ready to go I think, I'm just being thorough about documenting the history & checking for weird things.
