You can create a new GM and take over any team. That way you have two teams, not all.

I do know the option about All the teams, I have never understood why it might be there in some instances.

I had created a promotion/relegated league starting with my O's in OOTP22 for differentiality and it has somehow worked. Also try to rebuild my O's in the regular save.... they might be unsavable.......

The only other option I could give is to waive/dfa them if you don't necessary need/want anything in return. If someone claims them, they claim the entire contract too.
