Time of Game is Too Slow

OOTP hasn't kept up with the new rules, i.e. pitch clock, that have shortened game times. When simming in real time, OOTP goes about 30 seconds between pitches, and 3 mintues for a pitching change...

Game freezes when I try to advance a day

Fictional sim is at May 18, 1975. No problems before now. But now I can't advance to the next day, or any day in the future, without the game freezing/crashing. I've tried rebooting, etc. Still...
