I have every baseball pc sim out there, or most anyway.

All I play is mostly 60's to 80's short series or a draft now and then that I usually don't finish.

I am playing the demo ver.

As for lineup control of the other team WITHOUT taking full control of the team, I don't know... You can set up the 7-day lineups before the series starts, then change the option to not use...

The 71 cubs don't even have their no 1 catcher on the team.

I knew this was a fictional game mostly but heard the historical part was getting better... Its a pain.... I want COMPLETE control over...

I am trying this game and I just play replays, series . So I just want to play the 71 sox vs 71 cubs in a 7 game series. I want control of the lineups. I see Chris Cannizzaro is not on Cubs roster....

I just play for replay. I mostly play just tourneys or series. Nothing long term.I have action, dmb, dynasty, apba, replay. I only play pre 80's, mostly 60's and 70's.
