BZ 1142: Unnecessary Playoff Game

In my non-playoff league if two teams are tied for second at the end of the year they play a one-game playoff even though there is no wildcard. I hope this gets fixed.

Is it possible to merge two leagues, or at least absorb the best teams from a defunct league into a stronger league? Is their history maintained?
