According to OOTP itself, OOTP MLB play (modern and historical) outnumbers OOTP fictional play three to one.

Five thousand thanks for a non-modder? I never thought I'd see the day. Thank you for your support.

Actually, the full meaning is supposed to be land of the smelly, wild onion.

So I have heard.

Boy you are hard to please.

You don't like anything I suggested!

Pioneers in Pittsburgh? Well are there Pirates in Pittsburgh? You can make up a story that they were named after the team owner's affiliation with some organization named Pioneer club or company, whatever.

Atlanta Rebels
Boston Colonials
Chicago Hitmen
Cincinnati Rivermen
Los Angeles Moguls
Pittsburgh Keystones
San Francisco Golden Gators
St. Louis Dredgers

These are the ones I like right now. There will probably be a runoff in San Francisco and St. Louis.

I'll keep this open for ideas for about 24 more hours. I am open to suggestions.

One thing that is odd. When I google Cincinnati Rivermen, the #3 search result is this thread. Those Google spiders get around.

Howabout Chicago Dailys. A play on the baseball being played everyday and it sounds like a certain "King"/Mayor of Chicago.

Final picks for the league:

Atlanta Rebels
Boston Colonials
Chicago Hitmen
Cincinnati Rivermen
Los Angeles Moguls
Pittsburgh Keystones
San Francisco Golden Gators
St. Louis Dredgers

These will be turned over to the modders for the creation of logos and unis.
