not even halfway into my first season..Jose Reyes and Matt Stairs gone with career ending injuries, as well as one other younger player I can't recall at the moment...I don't want to tweak injuries...

ok, here's exactly what happens....
I attempt to start out of the park using the ootp4 icon. The game screen comes up, it starts to load the previously saved league, the "loading league" status bar...

Post serious crash

After my previous problems of losing a league, I've deleted the offending file, unlicensed the game, reinstalled the game, and I am still getting the same illeagal error message after it's done...
